Progress at El Encanto de la Laguna

I am not quite sure if it was the return of the stock markets, the whale season or the fabulous weather we are having that has sprung people interest in building their dream home here at El Encanto de la Laguna. Many potential buyers and smarter folks who are now buying their dream home are taking advantage of our custom homes services. Whether it is a unique or personalized design with materials of one´s choice on the location of their liking, our in house construction team is able to build a dream home in our prime location. The infrastructure work, as well as the landscaping has been perfected during the slowdown in construction, permitting us to focus 100% on any new construction projects, thus guaranteeing extreme attention to detail and superb quality in construction. Some chose to panic during the slow down, we chose to get better and get prepare for the return of the market.

Things are moving along nicely out at the stunning beachfront development of El Encanto. El Encanto now has 20 homes and 21 condos with 20 more homes coming and at least 40 more condos. With the negative news around the world, some very smart buyers have been turning that negativity into very positive news by getting in to the Cabo market for a future of sun drenched days along the Sea of Cortez. Here at El Encanto we have seen a surge in buyers over the last 5 weeks. One factor that has contributed to increased sales is the fact that it is a good time to be buying and many smart buyers know that the time to buy is when everyone else is not….a recession is a window of opportunity. The sales department recently had a very successful open house/ art exhibit in the phase I condo area with over 100 attendees and two new offers generated.

El Encanto de La Laguna has recently aligned itself with high-end furniture manufacturer, Peninsula Furniture. The furniture is all hand crafted in South America and compliments the beautiful Hacienda style architecture impeccably. We are proud to showcase the Peninsula line of furniture.

The community feel of El Encanto is progressing. A formal HOA has been established, there is more landscaping, a bigger desalination plant has been purchased and treated water recycled water is being used for landscaping to be energy-efficient and to keep costs down. The gravity-fed system uses less power, resulting in better value for the community and lower maintenance costs for landscaping. Homeowners are getting to know each other, enjoying the peace and serenity of the small boutique-style beachfront community. There is now a concierge service. The in-house team can set up the home before owners arrive, leaving owners happy to show up and find all is ready for them to enjoy their resort-style living. In-house massage and cooking services are also available. Future plans include: Club El Encanto with a restaurant bar and grill, a fitness center, relocated administration offices, a tennis court and a spa area.
