San Jose del Cabo

San Jose del Cabo is a quaint and charming Mexican town rich in history and culture. Every year thousands of visitors from across the globe visit beautiful San Jose del Cabo looking to experience all that make Mexico unique and an ideal location to live. With almost perfect weather, pristine beaches, very rich culture and traditions, warm and friendly people, a wide range of year-round outdoor activities available from world class golf to deep sea fishing, and overall great dining, it is no wonder why every year there are more and more people wanting to make San Jose del Cabo their home away from home.

San Jose prides itself on its peaceful park like setting and town plaza with park benches and a gazebo located in front of the town’s church, which was built on the site of the original 1730 mission. The very first golf course in Baja California Sur was developed by Fonatur (governmental Tourist Development Agency) in San Jose del Cabo in the mid 1980’s. It’s what started the amazing golf boom in Los Cabos, which has progressed to being the hottest Golf Mecca in Mexico. The San Jose course is an attractive 9-hole course, which is craftily laid out between the town and the beach.

San Jose’s growth along the wide tranquil beaches stretches from the fresh water Estero to the Palmilla Point. The beachfront developments include luxurious, all-inclusive hotels and condominium developments. San Jose’s growth is planned, eminent and very exciting with the construction of the Puerto Los Cabos development which includes at 535 slip marina, Greg Norman signature golf course, and Jack Nicklaus signature Golf Course. As the demand continues to grow for high-end beachfront properties in San Jose del Cabo, El Encanto de La Laguna is in arguably the best possible location being only minutes from the new marina and historic down town San Jose, however, on one of the most tranquil beaches in all of Los Cabos. With the new Puerto Los Cabos development directly to the west and 3 other large extremely high-end developments planned towards the East and North ( and a new road planned directly from the airport to East San Jose del Cabo, it is easy to see why East San Jose del Cabo is rapidly becoming the future of high end development and destinations for Los Cabos.
